In 2022, our founders spent months travelling with taxi operators across India — from the busy streets of Delhi to the hill stations of Himachal. The picture was consistent everywhere: good operators, held back by bad tooling.
Bookings were tracked in WhatsApp threads. Driver assignments were done by phone. Billing was handled in tally sheets. Revenue leaked through the cracks every single day.
We built TaxiSaaS to fix that. Our first version launched in early 2023 with five pilot operators. Within six months, 100 operators had signed up. Today, over 500 operators run their businesses on TaxiSaaS — from independent owner-operators to companies with 200+ vehicles.
